FAMILY PRACTICE
Kenmar Family Practice is staffed by Dr. William Snell who is board certified in family practice. Unlike other specialists, our specialty is you-the patient. Family physicians are t rained in pediatrics, gynecology, orthopedics, dermatology, internal medicine, behavioral modification and addictive disorders to mentional a few of the medical specialty areas. We offer comprehensive and economical health care for the whole family. We can handle virtually 95% of all medical problems, from newborns and infants to adults – in the office, hospital or nursing home.
OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE
Dr. Snell is an osteopathic physician (D.O.). D.O.’s and M.D.’s have the same medical license, share the same educational requirements and utilize all scientifically proven methods of diagnosis and treatment. D.O.’s however, have additional training in the musculoskeletal system and will use manipulative therapy to treat structural and medical problems, if indicated. This added dimension of medical therapy and osteopathic emphasis on treating the whole person, not just the illness, separates D.O.’s from other medical practitioners.
